A patch of green on a maple tree, illuminated by sunlight, caught my eye as I gazed out the window. It was moss and it looked like a bouquet. Without the sunlight it appeared dark. We often miss clues to life that are illuminated right in front of us.

A Bear with Insomnia

The footprints crossing the trail were large and at first we weren’t sure if they were animal or human. On further investigation we found them to be a bear with insomnia. Perhaps the changes in the climate have changed both humans and animals.
